Dreams Become Reality Through Historical Fiction Series

In this story, the young girls parents die leaving her and her sister to the mercy of the fathers family after her father becomes a wealthy man through hard work and determination among the struggles of the Irish Immigrant in America 1890.
Erin seems to take herself away from the abuses of her life through her dreams of Ireland from the stories her grandfather had given her. In her dreams she finds what her fate holds for her. Erin's mothers family has roots that run deep in the Fenian Brotherhood and the pride she finds within her stems from that fact. After years of being parted from her mothers family, Erin finds a way to reunite herself with the loved ones she lost as a child. The adolescent love of her life is marred in heartache and strife after being told that no one could ever separate them, but loyalty to family in the 1800's was a fierce thing.
The young girls takes a journey from a trusting little girl to a woman who knows what it is to be betrayed by those you love and lose all to find life is richer because of her life's struggles. She looks inside herself to find who she is and where she wants to be.
Her realizations and twists of fate find the girl in Pre-Anglo-Irish War, Dublin Ireland.
I found in this, the first novel from writer Marcie Caudell, a passionate love of story telling.
The novel is full of emotions, and this read will strike at them all. I found myself seeing the events vividly as I read each page .I couldn't wait to find out what was happening from word to word and chapter to chapter. You literally watch the evolution of young Erin Morgan and see the nature around her.
At times I found myself cheering for the characters as well as damning some for there behaviors. I have not read a first time author's work and loved it so well as I did in "Tears to Dublin" The Erin Chronicles; and I hope to read the following titles soon. The ending of this book leaves you wanting to immediately read the entire series at once.
The Poetry in this novel was beautiful and I hung on each phrase. At times I found myself in the rooms of the cottage home as a guest as I listened attentively. I also found that after reading 'Tears to Dublin" The Erin Chronicles; I have a new respect for the Irish Immigrant in America and for those abroad and awaiting the new understanding of the troubles in Ireland.
